As Halloween submissions continue to come in, we were blessed to have gotten this piece early. Giving a peek into the dark side of the modeling world, we get to see how appearance and self-worth go hand-in-hand in creating over-inflated egos, self-loathing, and everything in between.
But this story isn’t just about the nature of the modeling world, it’s a look into the obsessive mind of a self-destructive person careening out of control toward disaster. Author V.P. Morris takes us inside such a mind with a young model struggling with weight, esteem, and career issues. But don’t think this is a story with a happy ending. No, this piece sucks the blood right out of your still warm flesh, literally.
