All I Do Is Fall
By Ashleigh Hatter
Sudden losses
and the floor –
my Earth goes out away from me
from beneath my feet.
And all I do is fall.
There’s little truth in things they say,
it’ll be okay.
But right now is the issue,
cause I’m not then, now.
And all I do is fall.
Remembering chances I had to not be
so bad
To make some bad I had seem
so good
But now it’s so sad
Cause what I’m left with it this:
All I have is a carpet torn from under me,
A night full of pointless stars.
And all I do is fall
And all I do is hope
And all I do is call
And now I only fall.
