Breath Of The Wild

The singing of the birds
as they rustle through a tree
show they need no words
to describe how they are free.

The quiet babbling of the river’s flow
while the fish swim through the stream
is enough to let you know
that they too are free.

And so it goes
all through the natural space
just as the wind blows
you can’t stop freedom’s pace.

Because we all live together on the Earth
and freedom can’t be defiled
once we understand our worth
and take in the breath of the wild.
