No More Fall
By Caleb James K.
Days that shorten,
And nights which linger,
With the cold kiss of winter,
Upon one’s finger.
The snow does fall,
As Autumn ends,
With winter’s embrace,
The soul it mends.
Chilly day,
And a frigid night,
Never prepared,
For its wicked bite.
For winter has come,
Quite early this year,
Autumn has left,
For this we fear.
