Infinity Pool

By Caleb James K.

The infinity pool rises
      its water black as
            night.

Blood has been spilt
      the only sign of a
            fight.

A distant shadow moves in silence
      a bloody footprint
            follows.

A man was killed this night
      his soul the infinity pool
            swallows.

Beneath the moon so cold
his body floats in the pale
            light.

The infinity pool rises
      its water black as
            night.
